Our story

Brilliant Matters was born from academic excellence and scientific innovation. The company’s core technology was developed during the graduate studies of its founders at Université Laval, under the supervision of Professor Mario Leclerc. Building on this strong foundation in polymer chemistry and organic electronics, BM was officially founded in 2016 to bring next-generation OPV materials to market. Since then, the company has evolved rapidly—from R&D materials to industrial deployment—positioning itself at the forefront of the organic photovoltaic revolution.
