BTP-eC9
PhotovoltaicDescription
BTP-eC9 is a structural analogue to the popular BTP-4Cl (Y7) acceptor. BTP-eC9 features enhanced intermolecular ordering compared to BTP-4Cl (Y7) acceptor due to the modification of the alkyl chains(1), and has been used to create devices with power conversion efficiencies of 18% in the academic literature.(2) Similar to BTP-4Cl (Y7), the BTP-eC9 features chlorinated end groups which give the material energetically deep HOMO and LUMO levels.
